The familiar that keeps you saying yes when you want to so no. The familiar behavior that triggers guilt when you try to set healthy boundaries. The familiar, when you try to make yourself a priority, but the expectations of others occupy your time. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and agent for change I haveexperience in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, OCD, and trauma. Relationships and families have been a great passion of mine for as long as I remember. I have always wanted to help others and there is no better way to do that than to help build healthy relationships and families, one individual, at a time. I am passionate about seeing people live their lives in the best state emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. As a Christian, who is a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to guiding others along the wonderful journey of healing and self-discovery.

Lori Speed
Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to help people. As I grew up, that desire became stronger and stronger until I decided a career in mental health was the best way to fulfill that desire. That desire was further cemented when I became a Christian and really saw how people were hurting. Throughout life and circumstances, I have developed a passion for marriages and families, including premarital counseling, although I do see clients on an individual basis.
I view every client as unique and will treat each client as such. My personal belief is that counseling should be a safe and productive place to share and I make every effort to make each client feel that way. No matter what it is that brings you into counseling, know that there is never any judgment. Life is full of choices, and if you have gotten this far, you are one step closer to making a decision that will impact your life for the better.
My degree is in marriage, couples and family counseling, but I also have experience working with trauma and substance abuse. I am passionate about working with ages 16 and up.

Amaya Hardy
Amaya Nicole Hardy is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in helping people heal by finding their voice while helping them learn to set healthy boundaries. Amaya earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from NCA&T State University and received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014 from Liberty University. Amaya is EMDR trained, with over 12 years’ experience in mental health. She uses EMDR to help people heal from Trauma experienced through emotional, psychological and spiritual abuse.
Amaya’s experience goes beyond just helping marriages, but she also works with those who have a history of strained relationships with their parents. She aims at helping others walk out their healing and forge strong, healthy relationships in all aspects of their lives.
Amaya treats adults 18 and up. She is committed to guiding others down the powerful journey of healing and self-discovery and is committed to working diligently with those who seek counseling to find the answers they’ve been searching for.
